Artist Statement
While my leanings have been toward early American furniture, and its making and restoration, Mark Sfirri recently introduced me to the world of contemporary wood art. I am fascinated by the range and drama of work being produced today and find it inspirational in my own work. Currently, I have been taking features of various historical pieces and incorporating them into music and plant stands.
